Samsung unveils Galaxy S II Plus with Jelly Bean OS

Samsung just announced the Galaxy S II Plus and going by the specs sheet, software is the only department where Galaxy S II Plus differentiates itself from the original Galaxy S II. The new Galaxy S II Plus comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box and runs the latest TouchWiz user interface. Additionally, Samsung has also added support for S Voice, Direct Call, Smart Stay, Smart Alert, zero-lag shutter camera, AllShare Play and few more.

On the hardware and the design side, the phone is still the Galaxy S II with 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 21.1Mbps HSPA, 8MP camera with 2MP front-facing camera, 8GB internal memory (reduced from 16GB in Galaxy S II), microSD card slot and 1650mAh battery.
